Job summary

United Rentals in Lebanon, TN is hiring an Equipment Associate to support service technicians, sales staff and branch operations. You will perform a range of manual tasks, inspect and prepare equipment for rental, load/unload gear, and assist customers with equipment demonstrations and deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skills.

• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and compliance; ensure good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment; prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers; drive delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
