United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Associate to provide labor support to service technicians, sales staff, and branch personnel, ensuring smooth branch operations.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork while handling equipment preparation and delivery. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, ensuring compliance with safety decals, cleaning gear, and assisting with loading, unloading, and demonstrations for customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork.
• Safety-focused with diligent attention to safety.
• Superior customer service skills and ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and ensure good working order.
• Clean all equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment and prepare for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck for pick-up/drop-off.
• Perform other duties as needed.
