Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to perform a range of manual tasks supporting branch operations. You will provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff, and other personnel to meet customer needs and ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service as you handle equipment, deliveries, and prep duties. Excellence in this position can lead to advancement programs within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Safety-conscious attitude.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and ensure good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers; drive delivery truck as needed.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
