Job summary

United Rentals in Ventura, CA is seeking an Equipment Associate to support trench safety branch operations. You will assemble, load and unload equipment, and prepare rentals for delivery or pickup.

You will perform safety checks, verify delivery tickets, greet customers, and recommend equipment to meet customer needs while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load and unload equipment; assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure safety and good working order.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries about equipment.
