Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Associate in Reno to perform a range of manual tasks that support trench safety branch operations.

You will help prepare customer orders, assemble and load equipment, and assist with deliveries while maintaining equipment to safety standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, dependability, and a strong safety mindset, with opportunities for advancement through the Driver development program and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
• Superior customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
• Safety-focused with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries about equipment.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
