Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to perform a range of manual tasks to support trench safety branch operations. You will assist with assembling, loading, delivering, and preparing equipment for rental, while ensuring safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong customer service, and adherence to procedures, with opportunities for advancement through our Driver development program. Valid license and the ability to lift 45 lbs regularly are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required.
• Some knowledge of computers and phone apps.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• PPE and work boots are provided by the company.
