Job summary

Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Equine Soft Tissue Surgery within the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (VMBS). The appointee will join a nine-member Large Animal Surgery service and must foster a collegial, team-centered environment with veterinarians, students and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a DVM (or equivalent) degree.
• Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) or be eligible to take Phase II.
• Interest, experience, training and expertise in teaching in clinical programs and graduate education.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for a referral population of large animal surgical patients.
• Teach in both pre-clinical and clinical programs; contribute to scholarly activities.
