• Requires DVM or equivalent degree and veterinary qualifications.
• Experience in equine medicine and surgery is essential.
• Ability to teach and mentor veterinary students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom, clinical and laboratory instruction of veterinary students, graduate students, interns, and graduate veterinarians.
• Demonstrate creative scholarship and collaborative research activities in large animal medicine/surgery.
• Develop innovative teaching and service programs for the department and the VTH.
• Participate in providing client services to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) in equine surgery practice.
• Participate in after-hours emergency duty clinical services and collaborate with referring veterinarians for outreach and continuing education.
