Job summary

Oldfield Club seeks an Equestrian Technician to perform daily horse and barn care, with light pasture/arena maintenance and basic veterinary tasks. The role supports shows, clinics, and summer camps and requires interaction with members, boarders, and clients. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

The position is full-time with a 4x10 schedule, paid time off, full benefits, a 401(k), and life insurance. Fluent English and a valid U.S.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily routine care of horses and other barn animals, light pasture/arena maintenance, and light veterinary care. Assists with programming including shows, clinics, and summer camps, as well as other duties as assigned. The qualified candidate must perform safely and efficiently while interacting daily with members, boarders, and clients. We are looking for a positive, efficient, and reliable team member who is detail-oriented and can thrive both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Other duties include providing educational and family-oriented experiences for members of the community through instruction in horseback riding activities and other recreational activities offered by the Equestrian Center. Due to the nature of this position, qualified applicants must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. The hourly rate is $17.50. The work week consists of four 10-hour shifts with three consecutive days off per week. Full-time employees receive PTO, a full benefits package, 401(k), and life insurance.
