Job summary

AMD is seeking a Datacenter Product Application Engineer to work with key customers across cloud, enterprise and HPC markets, deploying EPYC CPUs in data center systems. You will collaborate with field application teams, validation groups and customers to ensure successful bring-up, performance tuning and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
Experience in server/data center systems and interfaces.
Familiarity with DDR, PCIe, SPI/eSPI, I3C/I2C.

Responsibilities

Directly manage technical interactions with key customers to enable deployment of EPYC CPUs.
Support bring-up and validation of EPYC CPUs in customer systems; guide usage of AMD tools.
Lead debugging of customer-reported issues (hardware/firmware) with cross-functional teams.
Develop manufacturing/tests to ensure reliability at scale.
Author design guidelines, presentations, and training material.
Provide recommendations to improve customer experience with SW/HW.
