Job summary

AMD is seeking a Server Product Architect to join the Datacenter System Architecture and Engineering team. The role focuses on defining EPYC product architecture spanning Si, platform HW/SW, and usage scenarios to deliver optimal customer experiences.

You will work with customers, processors/IP/SOC architects, and software teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions, contributing to next-generation server designs and product strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to define end-to-end server architecture across hardware and software.
• Experience coordinating with customers, architects, IP/SOC teams, and software teams.
• Strong understanding of scalability, power, thermal, and reliability in datacenter servers.

Responsibilities

• Define server product architecture and roadmap.
• Architect solutions using AMD processors, accelerators, and network components.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to capture requirements for high-performance systems.
• Lead R&D of next-gen server designs to improve performance.
• Influence future products by shaping architecture and technology execution.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of memory, I/O, power integrity, thermal and packaging.
