Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking a Production Operator for our Glendale, CA site. The role involves operating plant equipment and chemical processes safely to meet production targets.

The position requires working across multiple shifts and passing a background/drug check, with a pay rate of $27-$30 per hour. Responsibilities include handling chemicals, operating vessels and reactors, and performing packaging and cleaning tasks while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
• 3+ years of related manufacturing experience, preferably chemical formulation.
• Authorized to work in the US and able to pass background & drug screening.
• Willing to work 1st/2nd/3rd shifts as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate plant equipment and chemical processes to support epoxy and polyurethane formulations.
• Handle chemicals and processing equipment (vessels, mixers, reactors, dischargers).
• Work with heating, cooling, vacuum, pressure, nitrogen purging and exothermic reactions.
• Maintain good housekeeping and quality standards.
• Operate forklift and manually handle drums as needed.
• Fill containers and clean equipment and tools.
