Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US and able to pass background & drug screening.
• Willing to work 1st/2nd/3rd shifts as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate plant equipment and chemical processes to support epoxy and polyurethane formulations.
• Handle chemicals and processing equipment (vessels, mixers, reactors, dischargers).
• Work with heating, cooling, vacuum, pressure, nitrogen purging and exothermic reactions.
• Maintain good housekeeping and quality standards.
• Operate forklift and manually handle drums as needed.
• Fill containers and clean equipment and tools.

Production Operator - Glendale, CA

Our client is currently looking for a Production Operator for their chemical manufacturing site in Los Angeles (Glendale), CA. As a flexible and motivated team member, you will operate plant equipment and chemical processes safely and efficiently to production output.

Pay Rate: $27-$30 per hour

You will be responsible but not limited to the following:

• Safely handle chemicals and chemical processing equipment (vessels, mixers, reactors, dischargers) for the manufacture of epoxy and polyurethane type formulations for aerospace, electronics, tooling, etc.


• Processes incorporate heating, cooling, vacuum, pressure, nitrogen purging and exothermic reactions.


• Good housekeeping is essential along with motivation for high quality.


• Use of a forklift and physical handling of drums is common.


• The role also includes the filling of containers and cleaning of equipment and tools.


• The individual should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, following instructions and completing tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Lead Operator.


• Participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent, such as GED


• 3 or more years of related experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably a chemical formulation plant


• Must be authorized to work in the US, and be able to pass a background check and a drug test


• Must be willing and able to work any of the three shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on business needs

1st Shift Hours - 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

2nd Shift Hours from 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

3rd Shift Hours from 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
