Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an Epoxy/Paint Operator for 1st shift to prepare, mask, sand, bead blast, and apply epoxy or paint to parts.

You will read build specs and safety data sheets, operate paint line equipment, and maintain a clean 5S work area while assisting teammates with setup and improvement efforts. The role emphasizes manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and adherence to safety guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with small parts.
• Good hand-eye coordination and vision for detailed inspection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts by masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting.
• Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques.
• Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and follow build specs, safety data sheets (SDS), and digital instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Assist teammates with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
