Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC. is seeking an Epoxy/Paint Operator for 1st shift to prepare, coat, and finish metal components used in power distribution systems. You will follow build specs, SDS, and digital instructions to ensure durable, safe, and visually appealing enclosures.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, comfort with hand tools, and keen attention to detail. High school diploma or GED is required; 5S and team-support duties are part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with small parts.
• Good hand-eye coordination and vision for detailed inspection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts by masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting.
• Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques.
• Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and follow build specs, safety data sheets (SDS), and digital instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Assist teammates with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Use PPE and tools correctly and follow all safety guidelines.

Position Description: Epoxy/Paint Operator 1st Shift

As an Epoxy/Paint Operator at LayerZero Power Systems, you will be responsible for the preparation, coating, and finishing of metal components and enclosures used in high-performance power distribution systems. Your work will directly contribute to the durability, safety, and appearance of mission-critical equipment.

Requirements

Primary Duties:

• Prepare parts by masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting
• Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques
• Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately
