Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC is seeking an Epoxy/Paint Operator for the second shift to prepare, coat, and finish metal components used in high‑performance power distribution systems. You will ensure durability, safety, and a professional appearance of mission‑critical equipment.

You will work with epoxy and paint, follow build specs, SDS, and 5S workplace standards, and collaborate with engineers and production teammates to drive quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with small parts.
• Good hand-eye coordination and vision for detailed inspection.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts by masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting.
• Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques.
• Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and follow build specs, safety data sheets (SDS), and digital instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Assist teammates with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Use PPE and tools correctly and follow all safety guidelines.

As an Epoxy/Paint Operator at LayerZero Power Systems, you will be responsible for the preparation, coating, and finishing of metal components and enclosures used in high-performance power distribution systems. Your work will directly contribute to the durability, safety, and appearance of mission-critical equipment.

Requirements
