LayerZero Power Systems LLC. seeks an Epoxy/Paint Operator for the 2nd shift to prepare, coat, and finish metal components used in high-performance power distribution systems.

You will apply epoxy/paint, read build specs, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean work area and following safety guidelines. This role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with small parts.
• Good hand-eye coordination and vision for detailed inspection.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts by masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting.
• Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques.
• Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and follow build specs, SDS, and digital instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Assist teammates with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Position Description: Epoxy/Paint Operator 2nd Shift

As an Epoxy/Paint Operator at LayerZero Power Systems, you will be responsible for the preparation, coating, and finishing of metal components and enclosures used in high-performance power distribution systems. Your work will directly contribute to the durability, safety, and appearance of mission-critical equipment.

Requirements

Primary Duties:

• Prepare parts by masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting
• Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques
• Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Read and follow build specs, safety data sheets (SDS), and digital instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
• Assist teammates with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements
• Use PPE and tools correctly and follow all safety guidelines

Experience & Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work

Education:
