Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to develop electrical testing for high-reliability, radiation-hardened microelectronic components used in DoD systems. The role covers test package development, interface hardware design, PCB layout, and automated test software control.

Applicants must have a strong background in microelectronics and be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Responsibilities include circuit design and simulation, PCB development, writing automated test programs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant microelectronics experience.
• Experience with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, analyzers) required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret clearance (Interim clearance to start).
• Strong problem solving, communication and cross functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and simulation of test circuits for microelectronic components.
• Design and development of printed circuit boards.
• Develop automated test programs.
• Collect and review test data; support reports and documentation.
• Interface with customers in design reviews and technical meetings.
