Job summary

Janitza North America, the US arm of Janitza electronics GmbH, seeks a Project Engineer to support EPMS deployments across North America. You will collaborate with customers, sales, engineering, quality, and project management to deliver monitoring solutions for mission-critical environments.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in project engineering or technical support, strong electrical/EPMS knowledge, and proven ability to communicate technical topics to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, field service engineering, technical support, or a related role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power monitoring equipment, metering technology, and industrial communications.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, communication protocols, and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical support or project delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and partner sites for installation, startup, troubleshooting, and training
• Respond to customer support requests, both remotely and onsite
• Deliver customer training on newly commissioned systems
• Build strong customer relationships and provide a high level of technical support
• Configure, commission, and troubleshoot Janitza monitoring hardware, software, and communication networks
