Job summary

Schneider Electric USA is launching a Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program in July 2027. You will complete six months of training in Franklin, Tennessee, before transitioning to an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role to support customers across the United States.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or two-year technical degree required in Electrical Power Systems or related field.
  • Experience installing software or operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting across a network.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20–80% and relocate within the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
  • Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software used in electrical power distribution systems.
  • Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities.
  • Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects.
  • Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance.
