Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a field service specialist to deploy Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across diverse customer environments, including data centers, healthcare facilities, manufacturing units, and government sites.

You will install, customize, and integrate EPMS software, perform start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting, and provide customer training and device troubleshooting. Travel regionally with occasional longer assignments is expected.

Qualifications

Experience with electrical equipment and knowledge of electricity, power generation, distribution, and power quality concepts.
Understanding or experience with Modbus, Profibus or BACnet communication protocol.
Proficiency in interpreting contract specifications and electrical drawing packages.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team settings.
Computer/software proficiency: building computers or installing software; connecting devices in an industrial environment; installing virtual machines.

Responsibilities

Lead deployment of EPMS at customer sites including data centers, hospitals, manufacturing, military/government facilities, commercial buildings, and universities.
Collaborate with contractors and end-users in construction environments.
Install, customize, and integrate EPMS software; perform start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of equipment.
Provide customer training and device communication troubleshooting; perform hardware component replacements.
