Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC in Edison, NJ seeks a dedicated systems designer to produce highly detailed installation diagrams for data center automation and EPMS systems. You will develop mechanical and electrical layouts, onelines, and building plans, coordinating with the central engineering team and sales to support global projects.

You will draft multi-view drawings, ensure accuracy of BOMs and records, and communicate design changes to the engineering group.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks required.
• Experience with BIM modelling (Revit) a plus.
• Strong drafting fundamentals and ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer specification packages to determine design factors.
• Create Mechanical and Electrical System models with engineering team.
• Develop layouts and diagrams for Mechanical and Electrical Systems (enclosures, conduit, cabling, onelines).
• Draft multi-view drawings of parts and installations.
• Ensure drawings, BOMs, and records are accurate and complete.
• Coordinate submittals from equipment manufacturers.
• Analyze designs for standards compliance (OSHA, CE, etc.).
• Review drawings for material selection and machining details.
• Communicate design changes to Engineering Group Leader.
• Organize project documentation and schedules.
