Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a dedicated Systems Designer to produce highly detailed installation diagrams for data center automation and monitoring systems. You will support the central engineering team, creating mechanical and electrical system models, layouts, and onelines for complex installations.

The role requires drafting accuracy, proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and the ability to work in a team in a multi-location/remote environment. DOE pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or technology degree required.
• Strong drafting and design communication skills.
• Experience with automation systems drafting and P&ID is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer specification packages to determine design factors.
• Develop layouts, detailed design drawings, and diagrams for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Draft multi-view drawings of parts, sub-assemblies, and installation details.
• Ensure accuracy of drawings, BOMs, and engineering records.
• Coordinate equipment submittals and ensure design compatibility with requirements.
