Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). The role focuses on governance, strategic alignment, and delivering projects using PMI-based standards and templates.

You will report to EPMO leadership, coordinate with UMMS stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and drive improvements in processes. PMP is preferred and required within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of project management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides full project lifecycle management from charter to close-out in accordance with EPMO standards and governance procedures.
• Develops detailed project schedule to define the critical path, milestones, and delivery date.
• Monitors project budget, expenses, and invoice payments; manages project contracts.
• Provides project reports timely and in the EPMO standard format; submits project change controls as required.
• Ensures projects meet EPMO KPIs and quality standards.
• Drives cross-functional communications between UMMS stakeholders, project teams, and vendors.
