Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to provide scientific leadership across global virology programs. You will partner with RWLP management to shape opportunities, deliver proposals, and ensure high-quality study execution.

The role requires expertise in epidemiology and clinical trial design, with strong communication and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and interactions with sponsors.

Qualifications

• SME in Virology Clinical Trials.
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters preferred.
• Knowledge of study designs; post-marketing and late phase designs advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R, Python.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in Virology Clinical Trials and provide scientific oversight for projects.
• Collaborate with RWLP management to develop and win global opportunities; lead proposals and capability presentations.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction for assigned studies.
• Lead study startup activities and ongoing management; develop essential study documents (protocols, CRFs, SAPs).
• Develop abstracts, podium presentations, and authored articles to promote services.
