Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director, Epidemiology Strategy to lead pharmacoepidemiology activities within WWPS/Epi. You will design strategies, conduct analyses, and support safety/regulatory work for multiple drug indications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to contextualize safety signals and disease epidemiology.

Qualifications

Master’s level, Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline (epidemiology, health economics, outcomes research) or equivalent training.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year with the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO.
At least 2 years of hands-on epidemiology/health economics research using real-world data.

Responsibilities

Actively executes the vision and model for the pharmacoepidemiology group and translates to high quality activities.
Communicates the scientific and strategic value of pharmacoepidemiology to Safety Management Teams.
Conducts epidemiologic analyses and interprets results in support of BMS drugs and product teams.
Develops epidemiology strategy to support regulatory filings and drug approvals.
