Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a WWPS/Epi Epidemiology Associate Director to lead epidemiology strategy and contextualize safety data for drug development and regulatory submissions. The role reports as an individual contributor and collaborates with SMTs and cross-functional teams.

Travel to key congresses and internal/external engagements is required; strong expertise in pharmacoepidemiology and real-world data is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s level, Ph.D. or equivalent in epidemiology, health services research, outcomes research or health economics.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year with the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO.
• At least 2 years of hands-on epidemiology/PHM research using real-world data.

Responsibilities

• Actively executes the pharmacoepidemiology vision and translates it into high-quality activities.
• Communicates scientific value of epidemiology to Safety Management Teams.
• Conducts epidemiologic analyses and interprets results for SMTs and product teams.
• Develops epidemiology strategy to support drug development and regulatory filings.
• Ensures epidemiology work is executed with cross-functional partners.
