Job summary

Summit County Public Health is seeking an Epidemiology Coordinator to analyze health trends and risk factors for the community. You will conduct epidemiologic assessments, gather data from multiple sources, and create insightful reports to guide health initiatives.

The role requires proficiency in ArcGIS and PowerBI, with 3+ years of related public health experience and a drive to promote health equity within Summit County. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, public health, or related field; 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google products, and experience with data visualization tools (ArcGIS, PowerBI).
• Valid Ohio driver's license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Designing and conducting epidemiologic assessments; converting complex data into clear reports and presentations to support health planning and resource allocation.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and manage data from local, state, and federal sources for evidence-based health interventions.
• Developing data visualizations using ArcGIS and Microsoft PowerBI and producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for grant funded and community based projects.
• Participating in research projects and supporting the development of the Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan.
• Maintaining data quality and providing technical assistance to internal and external partners.
