Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with at least two years of related experience.
  • CHES certification preferred; other related certifications may be required.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with development, maintenance, and analysis of a standard data collection system.
  • Performs statistical analysis and reviews data results for accuracy.
  • Conducts interviews and investigates outbreaks of infectious disease with senior staff.
  • Prepares literature, graphs, and demonstrations on epidemiology for reports.
  • Presents data and epidemiologic findings to staff, partners, and the public.
  • Prepares periodic reports on incidence of infectious disease.
  • Investigates disease origins and provides guidance to partners and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field
Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
