Job summary

CyberCoders is looking for a Production Planner in New Jersey to coordinate and optimize production schedules, analyze forecasts, manage WIP, and ensure material availability while conforming to AS9100 and ISO standards. The role requires close collaboration with procurement and other departments to align capacity with demand.

You will use Epicor ERP to plan, track, and adjust schedules, support continuous improvement initiatives, and develop actionable reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems, particularly Epicor.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO standards.
• Proficient in Excel and data modeling tools.
• Understanding of Six Sigma methodology and its application in manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Analyze demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are available for production and manage inventory levels.
• Track work in progress (WIP) and provide regular updates on the status of production schedules.
• Collaborate with various departments to implement SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives based on Six Sigma principles.
• Utilize ERP and MRP systems, specifically Epicor, to effectively manage production planning and scheduling activities.
• Perform data modeling and analysis to identify trends and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on production performance, capacity planning, and potential issues.
