Job summary

Epiq Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support production planning, material planning, and ERP system management. You will create and maintain Epicor ERP jobs, schedule production, and coordinate with Purchasing to meet customer delivery commitments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, BOMs, routings and job records, while ensuring accuracy and timely execution in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, scheduling, MRP, and inventory planning.
• Experience interpreting BOMs, routings, and engineering documentation.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with good judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Minimum 2 years in production planning, materials planning, or related high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience using MRP systems to manage manufacturing jobs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligible to work on Federal contracts requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Create, release, and maintain manufacturing jobs in Epicor ERP.
• Develop and maintain production schedules from demand and the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Evaluate material requirements using ERP/MRP to optimize inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on material availability and supplier delivery impacts.
• Maintain ERP planning data: BOMs, routings, planning parameters, and job records.
• Review progress and adjust schedules to improve on-time delivery and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement in planning, ERP processes, and operations.
