A rapidly growing technology consulting organization is seeking an experienced ERP Operations Consultant to join its remote team. The company partners with organizations across North America and internationally, helping businesses maximize the value of their technology investments through enterprise software solutions, cloud services, business intelligence, infrastructure consulting, and cybersecurity initiatives.
In this role, you will work directly with clients to assess business challenges, recommend and implement software solutions, conduct training sessions, and support ERP-related initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can work effectively both independently and as part of a project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, providing front-line support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Facilitate business process assessments and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Deliver end-user training across ERP functional areas, including inventory, production, sales, scheduling, engineering, and related business processes.
- Assist with data conversion and migration activities during ERP implementations.
- Develop functional requirements and specifications for customizations, integrations, reports, and system enhancements.
- Create and execute project plans, identify resource needs, set priorities, and monitor task progress.
- Provide project estimates and ensure deliverables are completed according to established timelines.
- Serve as a key contributor on ERP implementation projects for client organizations.
- Support organizational change management efforts and user adoption throughout implementation engagements.
- Collaborate closely with customers and internal project teams to manage priorities and communicate project status effectively.
- Maintain relevant ERP certifications and product knowledge.
- Accurately record time, expenses, and project-related activities within internal systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience as an ERP consultant or working within an ERP-driven business environment.
- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP platforms, including Epicor 10 and/or Kinetic.
- Epicor certification is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also managing responsibilities independently.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience interacting directly with clients and supporting business transformation initiatives.
