Job summary

The Planet Group is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing organization to recruit an Epicor Technical Specialist who will grow from hands-on IT support into a full ERP expert within the business.

You will own Epicor ERP support and drive real business impact by solving complex issues, configuring modules, and improving processes across the organization. The role prioritizes problem solving, learning, and cross‑functional collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in SQL, Crystal Reports, and C#.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support across hardware, software, ERP, and user accounts.
• Resolve helpdesk tickets quickly and professionally.
• Assist with Epicor ERP customization, reporting, and workflows.

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing organization seeking a driven Epicor Technical Specialist who wants more than just a helpdesk role. This is a unique opportunity to start hands‑on with IT support while quickly evolving into a key ERP expert within the business.

What You’ll Do

Phase 1: IT Support & Helpdesk (Foundation)

• Provide day-to-day technical support across hardware, software, ERP, and user accounts
• Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets with speed and professionalism
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot systems and applications
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including account setup and permissions
• Document issues, resolutions, and processes clearly
• Escalate complex issues when needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Epicor ERP issues across modules
• Support dashboards, BAQs, BPMs, and reporting needs
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand and improve business processes
• Train end users and enhance ERP adoption across the organization
• Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementations
• Maintain documentation for workflows, processes, and support procedures
• Collaborate with vendors and developers on enhancements and fixes

Ongoing Impact

• Serve as a backup IT support resource when needed
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience
• Contribute to IT initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Deliver a high level of customer service and communication

What You Bring

Core Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environments
• 2+ years of hands‑on Epicor ERP experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• ERP customization, reporting, or workflow experience
• Experience with SQL, C#, or Crystal Reports
• Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and business applications
• Understanding of core business processes (finance, operations, inventory, etc.)
• Experience working with ticketing systems and documentation
