Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group is seeking an Epicor Kinetic Platform Owner to join our client’s team. The role focuses on the functional administration, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of the Epicor Kinetic ERP platform within a complex manufacturing environment (ETO/CTO).

You will bridge business operations and enterprise technology, lead process reengineering, manage security governance, master data, integrations, and analytics, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable,

Qualifications

• Extensive ERP administration experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of Kinetic ERP platform and configuration.
• Experience designing governance, SoD, audit/compliance controls.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Administrator and SME for Kinetic.
• Manage system configuration, environments, upgrades, patching and system performance.
• Design and maintain user security including: Role based access, Segregation of Duties (SoD), Audit and Compliance Controls.
• Manage user provisioning, access reviews, and security governance.
• Ensure Master Data Governance process and procedures are in place and followed for items, UOMs, Vendors, Chart of Accounts/Financial Structure.
• Setup and configure Kinetic per gathered functional requirements and business objectives.
• Lead business process reengineering efforts across specified functions of the business, focusing on usability, efficiency and scalability.
• Kinetic module configuration and administration.
• Epicor BPM/Automation Tools.
• Data Analytics and BI platforms.
• Epicor/DocStar ECM.
• Kinetic upgrade and patch management.
• Kinetic integrations and APIs.
• Kinetic reporting.
• Advocate for process optimization and change management; refuse status quo.
• Oversee QA, document processes, and resolve issues.
• Assist in development of training materials for effective user adoption of technology and solutions.
• Address day to day Kinetic questions from users.
• Conduct in-depth tests for modified and new systems or applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot software issues with vendors.
• Support third party integrations and applications (Avalara, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Concur).
• Prior experience integrating with MuleSoft.
• Prior experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Revenue Cloud.

Job Responsibilities

The Epicor Kinetic Platform Owner is responsible for the functional administration, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of the Epicor Kinetic ERP Platform supporting a complex Engineer to Order and Configure to Order manufacturing environment. This role bridges business operations and enterprise technologies, ensuring the Kinetic platform enables compliant, scalable, efficient business processes across all business functions including sales, finance, manufacturing, operations, and engineering.

General Description and Duties

The ideal candidate has deep functional business and process expertise, outstanding people skills, extensive ERP administration experience, and the ability to translate functional business needs into technical system requirements. The ideal candidate has experience working in a complex manufacturing environment (ETO and CTO) of a publicly traded company with revenues of at least $500M. A customer focused mindset and a “can do” attitude are a must.
