Qualifications

• Experience with Epicor Kinetic ERP configuration and governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Administrator and SME for Kinetic.
• Manage system configuration, environments, upgrades, patching, and performance.
• Design and maintain user security: role-based access, SoD, and audit controls.
• Ensure Master Data Governance for items, UOMs, vendors, and chart of accounts.
• Lead business process reengineering to improve usability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Kinetic module configuration and administration.
• Kinetic BPM/Automation Tools, Data Analytics and BI platforms.
• Kinetic upgrade and patch management and API integrations.
• Oversee QA testing, document processes, and resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities:

The Epicor Kinetic Platform Owner is responsible for the functional administration, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of the Epicor Kinetic ERP Platform supporting a complex Engineer to Order and Configure to Order manufacturing environment. This role bridges business operations and enterprise technologies, ensuring the Kinetic platform enables compliant, scalable, efficient business processes across all business functions including sales, finance, manufacturing, operations, and engineering.

General Description and Duties:

The ideal candidate has deep functional business and process expertise, outstanding people skills, extensive ERP administration experience, and the ability to translate functional business needs into technical system requirements. The ideal candidate has experience working in a complex manufacturing environment (ETO and CTO) of a publicly traded company with revenues of at least $500M. A customer focused mindset and a “can do” attitude are a must.

• Serve as the primary Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Kinetic.
• Manage system configuration, environments, upgrades, patching and system performance.
• Design and maintain user security including:
• Role based access
• Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Audit and Compliance Controls
• Manage user provisioning, access reviews, and security governance
• Ensure Master Data Governance process and procedures are in place and followed for things like: Items, UOMs, Vendors, Chart of Accounts/ Financial Structure
• Setup and configure Kinetic per gathered functional requirements and business objectives
• Lead business process reengineering efforts across specified functions of the business, with a focus on usability, efficiency and scalability
• Kinetic module configuration and administration
• Epicor BPM/ Automation Tools
• Data Analytics and BI platforms
• Kinetic upgrade and patch management
• Kinetic integrations and APIs
• Kinetic reporting
• Advocate for the culture of process optimization and champion change management and refuse to accept status quo and “Because we’ve always done it this way….”
• Oversee quality assurance system testing, document processes, and resolve issues to ensure a quality solution
• Assist in development of training materials and training programs for effective user adoption of technology and solutions
• Address day to day Kinetic questions from users
• Conduct in-depth tests for modified and new systems or applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot software issues (work with software vendors to resolve where applicable)
• Support of third party integrations and applications (Avalara, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Concur, etc.)
• Prior experience integrating with MuleSoft
• Prior experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Revenue Cloud
