Job summary

Search Leaders is seeking a versatile ERP/MES Analyst in Minneapolis to bridge business operations and technology. You will translate organizational requirements into Epicor ERP and Advanced MES solutions, partnering with IT and business teams to drive performance and automation.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, configuring ERP/MES, performing ETL and data quality tasks, and documenting system changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in business analysis, software development, enterprise systems, or a closely related role.
Proficiency with programming and database technologies such as Java, Python, C#, or SQL.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Working knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
Familiarity with database management platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
Understanding of data modeling, reporting, and visualization technologies such as Tableau or Power BI.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders and end users to gather, document, clarify, and translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Evaluate business processes and workflows to uncover opportunities for greater efficiency, automation, and operational performance.
Design, configure, develop, and enhance ERP and MES solutions that align system capabilities with evolving business needs.
Build or modify applications when necessary using programming languages, development tools, databases, and related technologies.
Perform ETL activities supporting reporting, analytics, system integration, and informed business decision-making.
Establish data validation and quality controls that maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity across business systems.
Create and execute test plans, troubleshoot defects, and resolve system issues to ensure solutions perform as intended.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, technical documentation, user guides, and records of system modifications.
Provide responsive technical support to end users while collaborating with IT teams to maintain system reliability and availability.
Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements and solutions for varied audiences.
Monitor emerging technologies and industry practices while recommending enhancements that improve existing systems and business operations.
