Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an EMR Implementation Specialist - Clinical to partner with practices and manage EpicCare training across FGP/Voluntary Practices. You will train physicians and clinical staff, and work with Epic teams to optimize workflows.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in ambulatory care; strong communication skills are essential. We offer a collaborative environment within a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; clinical training or experience in a health setting.
• 1–3 years' experience in physician practice management or ambulatory care.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience training users in group and individual settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation meetings and report updates to Director/team as appropriate.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned practices' clinical and physician staff; gather and document practice data and workflows.
• Train system users in EpicCare during implementation and post deployment; train new functionality across FGP/Voluntary Physicians.
• Develop and maintain training materials for trainers and end-users.
• Assist in developing IT training curricula and operational training curricula.
• Work with Epic and NYU IT/EPIC to resolve issues and deploy/ enhance EpicCare usage.
• Liaise with NYU IT Services to ensure appropriate resources for EpicCare implementation.
• Participate in user groups to improve EpicCare usage and provide training support.
• Coordinate training questions and issues across business units within the application areas.
• Create relationships with assigned Practices to ensure efficient issue resolution and retraining opportunities.
