Qualifications

• To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited institution.
• Certification as Medical Assistant (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA) preferred upon hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a faculty group practice or hospital setting.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary trainer for new hires.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with patient flow.
• Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs, blood draws, and specimen collection.
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling, data entry, and EMR documentation.
• Communicate with providers and staff and support patient experience.
• Ensure infection control and cleanliness of exam rooms.
