Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking an Epic Web and Service Server Engineer to support the Epic technical infrastructure. You will work on Epic technologies, including capacity planning, performance, and configuration management, and deploy Epic components.

You will provide consulting to Epic app teams and customers to apply Epic standards. The role requires Epic ECSA certification or certification within 6 months, plus additional third-party certs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years of direct Epic ECSA experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information technology with progressive responsibilities required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health Care environment preferred.
• 3 years of progressive responsibilities/experience in one or a combination of the following areas: Web Services, Server Administrator, Systems Engineer, Network Administration
• Understanding of operating system concepts such as user and group ownership and file permissions, file system/volume group configuration, etc.
• Knowledge of PowerShell
• Ability to create, understand, and follow processes to ensure successful execution of critical maintenance
