Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Web and Service Server Administrator (WSSA) within the Epic Client Systems Administration group. The role focuses on configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Epic web servers and related services.

The candidate will own end-to-end health, performance, and security of Epic server infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning automation, capacity planning, and proactive support, including after-hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Windows server administration.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as XenServer, VMware ESXi or Hyper-V.
• Experience with load balancing solutions such as F5 BIG-IP or NetScaler.
• Working knowledge of IIS administration and TCP/IP networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline tasks and deployments.
• Proactively analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and improve stability.
• Own health, performance, and security of Epic web and service server infrastructure from deployment to maintenance.
• Manage Epic printing infrastructure and print queues.
• Monitor network and web activity for security breaches; respond to incidents.
