Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based on our Madison, WI campus with relocation support. You will lead in-person and virtual training for healthcare professionals and staff, serving as the first contact to shape user experiences as they transition to Epic.

From instructional design to delivering training materials and scenarios, you’ll work with teams to craft workflow-based content and improve software usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID‑19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Involve the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery.
• Collaborate with organizations and design workflow-based training content in tight-knit teams.
• Help make our software more intuitive and facilitate staff transitions to Epic.
