Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a JPA Epic Technical Account Manager to develop and update Epic training materials for the PHMG Epic go-live, coordinate end-user training activities and liaise with PHMG stakeholders on training methodology. The role offers hands-on go-live support and a continued Epic support point of contact for PHMG users—their Epic BFF.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, or a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training.
• Advanced knowledge of health care industry trends. Advanced knowledge of the medical center or health system's product lines and services (ambulatory practice operations and management).
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills to perform complex market and financial analysis.
• Advanced strategic planning, project management, change management, and process improvement skills.
• Advanced interpersonal communication, relationship building and political acumen skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and technical skills to learn specialized applications and tools in the field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Epic training materials for the PHMG Epic go-live.
• Coordinate end-user training activities.
• Interface with PHMG stakeholders to educate them on training methodology and process.
• Provide hands-on support through Epic go-live and transition into ongoing Epic support.
• Serve as Epic BFF for PHMG users.
