Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the setup and ongoing administration for JPA entities transitioning to Epic, including contracts and billing coordination to ensure a solid contractual and financial framework for implementation and steady-state support.

Applies seasoned project management expertise to resolve issues, manage scope, budget and teams, and to implement PM methods across IT initiatives with strong writing and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus three years in healthcare accounting/finance management, contract management with Epic and third-party vendors, and drafting SOWs.
• Effective communication and organization skills.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles, theories and concepts.
• Ability to assess IT product and service needs for campus/medical center requirements.
• Knowledge of technology initiatives and their organizational impact.
• Ability to anticipate obstacles and plan contingencies.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Advanced organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong writing skills and experience implementing PM methods.
• Broad knowledge of computing including hardware, networking, software, operations and disaster recovery.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support setup and ongoing administration of the program structure for JPA entities transitioning to Epic.
• Coordinate software/services contracts and billing to the JPA.
• Ensure contractual and financial framework supports implementation and steady-state support.
• Apply seasoned PM practices to resolve issues and manage diverse project scopes, budgets, and teams.
