Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Greensboro, NC seeks a seasoned IT leader to oversee a newly formed Epic-focused administrative team. You will guide onboarding, coaching, and development of staff supporting Epic builds, testing, validation, and production support.

You will partner with Epic managers to prioritize enhancements, manage deployments, and document procedures. The role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and strategic mentorship within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years experience with EPIC or comparable health system software OR four (4) years scripting or programming experience.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care or related field and minimum eight (8) years working in IT or operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a newly established administrative team supporting Epic system builds and applications.
• Oversee onboarding, coaching, and development of team members for production support and enhancements.
• Coordinate with Epic managers and implementation teams for testing, validation, and deployment of changes.
• Provide governance for procedural documentation, specifications for enhancements, and testing validation.
• Manage timelines and cross-functional resources to deliver sustainable and prompt solutions.
