Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Systems Analyst Epic to design, build, test, train, and support Epic applications. You will translate clinical and operational needs into reliable Epic configurations, interfaces, and reports to optimize patient care and revenue cycle operations.

The role involves collaboration with IT and clinical teams, adherence to ITIL practices, and participation in release management with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years of system/application analysis experience (healthcare environment preferred).
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of system/application analysis experience.
• Epic application experience and knowledge of healthcare workflows.
• Strong requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL, change control, SDLC, governance, and agile/waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to communicate with clinical/operational stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and design Epic build aligned with goals.
• Create and maintain specifications, logs, and design documents for traceability.
• Support small projects and enhancements under senior guidance.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and UAT test plans; log defects.
• Coordinate release management, environment moves, and downtime procedures.
• Provide go-live and post-live hypercare support for Epic and related apps.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure integrated workflows across modules.
