Job summary

KAISER in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking a Systems Administrator IV for Health Systems to support Epic software and enterprise applications. You will perform system builds, validations, testing, and ongoing support, ensuring high-quality care through clinical IT systems.

The role requires collaboration with end users, Epic implementation staff, and vendors, plus documentation of configurations and procedures. A strong background in EPIC or similar health-system software, scripting, and leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years experience working with EPIC or comparable health system software.
• Minimum three (3) years scripting or programming experience.
• Minimum one (1) year in an informal leadership role working with IT or operational teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care or related field and Minimum six (6) years working in IT or operations.

Responsibilities

• Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area and meeting deadlines.
• Plans and performs complex system configuration and participates in installs, upgrades, or decommissions.
• Provides first and second level support for enterprise systems and diagnoses complex incidents.
• Creates documentation of system configurations and procedures; supports change management processes.
• Defines maintenance and documentation of complex applications; supports vendor activities as appropriate.
