Job summary
WebMD Ignite, a division of WebMD and Internet Brands, seeks a Solution Architect, Epic, to own Epic integrations across our product suite and client engagements. You will drive reusable integration patterns and serve as the senior technical contact for Epic-related work.
In this senior, client-facing role, you will align with the Epic roadmap, support sales engineering, and ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance throughout deployments.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare systems integration, including hands-on Epic platform experience.
- Strong command of HL7 FHIR (R4), SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2, C-CDA, REST APIs.
- Experience with HITRUST or similar compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and senior technical leadership across multiple engagements.
Responsibilities
- Define and own standard integration patterns between WebMD Ignite products and the Epic platform.
- Serve as the single senior technical point of contact for Epic-related client engagements.
- Lead discovery, integration design, and technical delivery for Epic work to accelerate onboarding and reduce risk.
- Track Epic releases and translate roadmap and announcements into product and engineering implications.
- Ensure Epic integrations meet HIPAA and PHI-handling requirements and align with client obligations.
