Job summary

The University of Miami Information Technology & Systems Department is seeking a full-time Epic Solutions Architect (Cardiology) to design, develop, and deploy Epic clinical applications. The architect will define system solutions based on user needs and integrate with existing platforms, while testing new technologies and documenting migration strategies.

You will lead and mentor teams, collaborate with cardiology leadership, and help optimize operational workflows and patient experience within

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science required.
Epic Cupid Certification strongly preferred.
Experience in healthcare IT and cardiology environments preferred.
Familiarity with cardiology workflows and integration points within Epic.

Responsibilities

Engineers new workflows and optimizes cardiology workflows within Epic.
Leads complex implementation projects and manages project plans and execution.
Acts as independent project lead or provides oversight for PM/BA on assigned projects.
Performs proactive analysis to improve operations and patient experience.
Identifies product configuration requirements within project scope and timelines.
Mentors senior analysts and collaborates with cardiology leadership.
