Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring for an EHR Application II Analyst to support Epic Security. The role requires prior experience as an Epic Analyst and an Epic Security certification, with the possibility of pursuing additional Epic certifications. This is a remote position.

The organization is a large nonprofit healthcare system serving the greater St. Louis region and surrounding areas, with extensive hospital and clinical services.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as an Epic Analyst.
• Epic Security certification is required, but other Epic certifications may be accepted.
• Experience configuring, modifying, testing and maintaining Epic and other clinical applications.

Responsibilities

• Designs, verifies, documents, amends and refactors complex software configurations for deployment.
• Investigates and resolves issues relating to applications and uses management tools to collect performance data.
• Develops and executes test plans and test cases across product, systems or service design and development.
• Evaluates design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements.
• Ensures incidents are handled per procedures; participates in incident management improvements.
• May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
