Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking an EHR Application I Analyst to support Epic Security and other clinical applications. The role emphasizes change requests, maintenance and project demand, with responsibilities spanning configuration, documentation and testing.

Healthcare background preferred; Epic certifications due within 6 months of hire. This is a remote position, with potential after-hours on-call rotation and collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Build support for Epic & other Clinical applications related to change requests, maintenance and project demands.
• Configure, document, test, modify, support and maintain software applications.
• Epic or applicable certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, clinical users, Technology and corporate departments to ensure usage and acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
• Assists in investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications.
• Assists with design of test cases and test scripts; map to criteria and report outcomes.
• Assists in evaluation of design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback and check adherence to standards.
• Provides first line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution.
• May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
